I remember eating at "The Real McCoys" as well as the Victorian styled Dairy Queen in the town square! Also remember visiting Joe's Bar and being in awe of all the mounted trophy animals that were on public display. Great memories All! |

Spent all my summers growing up around Ligonier: 1. Attending Boy Scout summer camp at Camp Twin Echo. 2. Visiting StoryBook forest. 3. Visiting Fort Ligonier and Ligonier days - remember with great fondness the large cast iron kettle of simmering Apple Butter! |

I visit Ligonier at least twice a week, I would come to Ligonier as a child with family members. I can remember staying at the hotel that is now the town hall. I have many pleasant memories here.

Just found out that Lady of the Lake B and B, the property where I grew up from 1981 - 1988, is being turned into a "camper's paradise". I miss living in that house, I miss walking around the lake and tubing in Loyalhanna Creek. I wish I could have bought the prop and moved back with my family one day. I hope they keep the place as beautiful as I remember it to be.
