LIGONIER RELAY FOR LIFE MAY 9 & 10, 2008
The Sixth Annual Ligonier Relay For Life will be held May 9th and 10th, at Weller Field. Relay, the American Cancer Society's signature event, is a life changing experience that helps us celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost and to fight back against a disease that takes too much. You can become involved by attending this worthwhile event. As a reminder...Relay For Life will paint Ligonier purple the week of May 5-10. LAUREL HIGHLANDS BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL JUNE 20-21, 2008
Tickets are now on sale for the 6th Annual Bluegrass Music festival held annually at the Waterford Fire Hall fairgrounds located about 4 miles north of Ligonier on Route 271. FREE SUNDAY EVENING BAND CONCERTS A Ligonier tradition, the FREE Sunday evening band concerts begin again on May 25th, 2008. The band concerts start at 7pm each Sunday through August 31st. Come join us! The full schedule of concerts is listed on the Events page.

FORT LIGONIER DAYS 2007 - ANOTHER GREAT ONE!
Fort Days has come and gone once again! Although the weekend started out a little damp, Saturday and Sunday were just perfect. We hope you had a chance to come out and join us in Ligonier this year! On Saturday, over 1,000 people looked in on the festival through our new, permanent Ligonier Cam. Don't forget that in 2008 we celebrate Ligonier's 250th Anniversary! Plan now to attend the festival by visiting our Fort Ligonier Days Info Page. We leave it up all year so you can see what happened this year and get the dates for next year. The schedule of events for next year won't be ready for many months, but we will leave this year's schedule up as an example of typical events until the new schedule starts to take shape.
