New Florence is a quiet rural town on Rt. 711 which is the Laurel Highlands Scenic Byway of PA. Access to town is easy from either Rt. 22 (drive 6 miles south) or Rt. 30 (drive 15 miles north).
The house is a two story Cape Cod style, with split entries at the side or the front. Four bedrooms and 2 full baths, kitchen, living room, laundry, upstairs reading room and a basement craft/dining room which can seat 20 for meals. Storage is available for recreation equipment such as canoes, kayaks or skis. Pets will be accepted on a case by case basis with a special deposit and limit of 2 pets. Horse boarding is available close-by for those traveling through to fairs, competitions or enjoying the many trials available.
The vacation house is set up for family groups or recreational/hobby groups. There is a TV with DVD player and VHS player (no cable) so bring your favorite entertainment. The local library will allow renters to use their WIFI and computers, magazines and books in the library.
