• Fort Ligonier - opens May 1st, 2008. This impressive fort, the finest of its type in North America, is a full-scale on-site reconstruction of the 1758 -1766 original fort. There is also an excellent museum on the grounds.
  
  
  
  
• Compass Inn (shown at right) opens May 1st, 2008. Compass Inn is a restored stagecoach stop from 1799 furnished with period pieces. It is located 3 miles east of Ligonier in Laughlintown on Route 30 and is a project of the Ligonier Valley Historical Society.
