These are actual comments from some of our guests at the Cottage.

Dear Kenwyn and Dana,
I just returned home from a long weekend at your cottage near Ligonier and I must tell you I found the description in your ad to be misleading. Instead of the 20 x 20 hunting cabin that we were expecting, we had the pleasure of staying in one of the most beautiful, well kept and serene homes we have ever vacationed in! I can not express how wonderful everything was and how grateful we are. Our original plan was to attend the Thunder In The Valley motorcycle event in Johnstown but the lions share of our 900 mile adventure was spent exploring the Laurel Highlands. (Ligonier, Fallingwater, Ohiopyle, Confluence, the 9 for 9 mine rescue site, the (9-11) air disaster site, and many hills and twisty turns). Even the weather was great except for a light rain on Fri. night that caused a ping pong and dart marathon (I hope we were not too loud for your neighbors). God bless you and your family for making perfect strangers welcome into your home.
Sincerely,
Kurt and Linda Foulke

We enjoyed our stay at your cottage immensely. What a relaxing place this is. As soon as you step through the door it seems like the cares of the world have disappeared.

Your cozy cottage is great for a family getaway. We own a week exchange at a 5-star resort and can also have it exchanged for places throughout the US. Your accommodations far exceed any place we have visited anywhere. Thank you.

Our week in this cabin was the perfect honeymoon. We made a trip to Fallingwater and hiked the trails at the Nimick Nature Center, but we mostly spent time here talking and enjoying one another’s company. The facilities here were perfect for just that: we grilled almost daily, played foosball, and built several fires, making s’mores and roasting hotdogs. In the short time spent here, this cabin began to almost feel like a home away from home. Thank you so very much for your generosity in providing this wonderful getaway to us. We’ll never forget it.

Our wonderful week here went by much too quickly. We found everything to be great. The grandchildren enjoyed making s’mores at the fire pit at night. Everybody had fun playing games in the rec-building. Thank you for sharing your cottage.

What a wonderful family get-away! We all enjoyed skiing and tubing all day and dinners and movies cuddled up around the warm fireplace every evening! A great opportunity for family bonding which we all enjoyed! The cottage is so cozy, warm and inviting! The beautiful scripture on the walls adds to the warmth and beauty making this a perfect mini-vacation!
